Compare him to Bowie, Hunter, Sinatra, Siouxsie, Weller, Lydon, Strummer, etc etc etc.
I think he's ok to be honest. Not really my cup of tea but I have to admit I quite enjoyed his tribute concert to the crooners a few years back. Everyone slagged him and said Sinatra's better. 'Course he was. Williams was doin' a tribute not a fuckin' impersonation. Can't get the energy up to slag him entirely and I defy anyone not to sing along to "Angels" after a few snifters.
